Max payne is your typical third person shooter pc game that was ported to the android OS smartphones. What makes max payne unique to hundreds of shooter games is that you can slow time with a push of a button that will help you evade enemy bullets as well as ambush them.
Max Payne Mobile features:
The same game as the original max payne on pc
IF you have played the original max payne game before, you would notice that the Max payne mobile game is the exact same game in every game with the original. The same kind of graphics, same kind of controls and even the same kind of cutscenes. Max payne mobile I can say is the perfect example of how porting games can be done in general.
Slow time with a push of a button
The most unique feature of max payne is that you can slow time with a push of a button. Slowing time can help you evade enemies but it can also help you ambush enemies as well as manuever yourself so it will be easier for you to shoot.
Controls are fully customizable
Controls in Max payne mobile can be moved which is the first game I have encountered with this kind of feature. This means that left handed people as well as right handed people can easily play this game without having to rely on their weak hand of off hand.
Flaws:
Resource hog
If you have a phone that is not 1ghz or better, you will have lag issues or delay issues while playing Max payne mobile.
Not really the same experience like playing on pc
Almost all shooter games in touch screen devices have this problem as most players can only use 4 fingers max to play which in most shooters is not enough to be enjoyed to the max. The great thing about it is that their are accessories that you can buy that will help you play great games on touch screen smartphone and devices. Max payne mobile is the perfect example of old but memorable pc games to be ported beautifully for touch screen devices like android smartphones. If you haven't played the original max payne game, then you will enjoy this game but if you have played that game before then you might like the idea of playing max payne on your phone.
