You will not have to control an avatar on this one and you directly control the racket unlike other badminton games.
Flaws:
flicking is harder than you think
Sometimes when the computer opponent gives you the shuttlecock, they throw it in a way that you will only have a really small margin to flick it right back to him. This problem aggravates in the hardest difficulty. The only way I can flick it back is if I advance my flicking which is unnatural for a badminton game.
Accidental pressing of the pause button
The pause button is located in a way that long flicks will certainly push the pause button.

Control problems in a fast paced sports like badminton is a big no-no in my book but other badminton games for the android does offer the same kind of badminton gameplay fared worse than this game. I guess we are stuck with 3d badminton for now.
