River pirates a new android game has a good and interesting gameplay. It has a twist on all the tower defense games because it lets you fend off ships and not soldiers, monsters or robots. There are several maps to choose with ranging difficulties between them but you cannot place cannons in every area of the map.
In this new android game, there would be 5 kinds of cannons to choose from. One is a light canon that shoots fast but low in damage, one is a scatter cannon where it will hit more than one ship, one is rocket canon with great range and great damage, one is a laser cannon where it shoots lasers and cuts through enemy ships, one is a ice canon that slows ships down. Each type of canons can be upgraded 3 times that increases their range, rate of fire and damage.
There are only 5-6 different kind of enemy ships in this game that range from fast moving to moderate to a high hp and to a low hp.
The game has a limited customization because there are only 5 kinds of canons and you are forced to use all of them to succeed in this game. The game is also never ending and you will lose in the end because even if you have all your canons upgraded, the hp of the ships will just be too high for you to defeat.
