Formula racing: ultimate drive is a pretty straightforward android racing game. You race in circuits and try to finish first place. In this new android game, there are several maps to choose from which range from easy to difficult. Shifting is done automatically and the game let's you concentrate on steering, brakes and using the nitro. This android game is a good solid racing game for the android but there are some problems in terms of gameplay that you cannot avoid. When an enemy or computer car bumps into you, they will not experience any speed decrease while you will have no controls for a few seconds with a significant speed decrease. The AI cars also have the same exact race line that sometimes blocks all the lanes in one particular turn.

This racing game for the android has one of the best graphics I have seen for a racing game. It gives you a bright cartoon-like graphics with a bit of 3d in them commonly seen in old arcade racing games. But you will not feel a sense of the car really moving because there is no added graphics in terms of braking and gaining speed.
Controls: 2/5 ★★
The buttons location are great with the left and right on the opposite side but the brakes are siturated on just one side that turning while braking will need you to use both hands on one side of your phone making it harder to do so. The nitros is better located within the speed meter but the worst flaw of this game is that if you press outside the buttons, it will still initate a button this is particularly frustrating especially with the left steering is so close with the brakes.

Music is particularly great and has a racing feel to them. The sound effects is enough but can be better.

Formula racing: ultimate drive is one new android game that holds a lot of promise. It gives you a good, simple arcade racing game to play with your android phone. Unfortunately, the bad physics and the bad controls makes the game almost unenjoyable. There are better racing games for the android out there but because it is free, why not and check it out and see for yourself.
